About Baldwin County Criminal History

Baldwin County records are divided among the sheriff, three court levels, Milledgeville police and court offices, and Georgia agencies. This private reference site organizes those official routes so readers can identify the custodian, portal, counter, or telephone line that fits the record they need.

Why We Built This Site

Georgia does not place every criminal-history product in one database. Baldwin County's sheriff creates booking and custody records, the courthouse clerk maintains Superior and State Court files, and Milledgeville keeps its own police and municipal-court records. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation's Georgia Crime Information Center maintains the statewide history repository, while the Georgia Department of Corrections and Georgia Sex Offender Registry answer different questions. This site brings the verified contacts, request paths, fees, and limits together.

What You Will Find Here

  • Case guidance: ways to find and interpret Baldwin County criminal court cases
  • Official checks: the different scope of Georgia Felon Search, personal GCIC inspection, and GAPS fingerprints
  • Local contacts: direct routes to the sheriff, courthouse clerk, and Milledgeville records counter
  • Record restriction: Georgia's process for limiting eligible GCIC information and the separate court-sealing step

What We Cannot Do

This is a privately operated reference site, not a Georgia court, police department, sheriff's office, or state agency. Its role has firm limits:

  • It cannot retrieve an official history or conduct an official records check.
  • It cannot submit a restriction application, open-records request, or court filing.
  • It does not issue certified dispositions, case documents, or GCIC histories.
  • It cannot interpret a charge or provide advice about an individual matter.
  • Agency hours, fees, contacts, and procedures should be confirmed before relying on them.

An official copy must come from its custodian: the Baldwin County Sheriff's Office, the appropriate court clerk, Milledgeville Police, or the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.

Search Partners

Third-party providers power search boxes displayed on some pages. They control their services, results, and prices. A resulting paid registration may generate a referral fee for this site, but the site neither sets those charges nor determines the information returned.
